The SGA brings together developers, studios and organisations committed to creating a more sustainable games industry — from reducing emissions in development to improving standards and transparency across the board.

We are a proud founding member of the Sustainable Games Alliance and have been working collaboratively with them in their efforts to develop an industry-wide standard for emissions accounting and sustainability reporting.

We were thrilled to be part of the conversation at Immersive Tech Week in the Netherlands, where XR’s potential for sustainability took center stage. Moderated by Joost Raessens, who kicked off his presentation with a key question, “How can we utilise XR for a sustainable future?”, the roundtable discussion highlighted innovative EU initiatives and sought expertise to greenify the XR and gaming industries.
